Happy 4th of July!

Super pumped about lighting off fireworks and hanging with friends and family. Work has been so crazy lately, a few days off are definitely in order. I took my daughter to Disneyland the other day for the first time and she loved the firework show, so I imagine she'll like our fireworks a lot more this year. Work on Chaos Mortalitus: Revelations, book 2 is continuing and hopefully everything will arrive on schedule, but that all depends on my tattooing schedule. Anyway, enjoy independence everyone!

I quit smoking!

Sorta, the month is coming to an end and I haven't had an actual cigarette in 12 days. I now smoke E-cigarettes, (electronic cigarette, The SafeCig) and so far so good. I have no desire to go back to tradional smoking at this point, I think I prefer the SafeCig over traditional cigarettes. If you want to quit smoking, I strongly suggest switching to the E-cig, I started with 14mg nicotine cartridges am will be taking a step down to 11mg very soon. My goal is to get to 0mg in the next 6 months and become completely free of nicotine. I love this product, I'll update periodically.

Chaos Mortalitus is available on Kindle, download it now for $1.99

Chaos Mortalitus, Book 1 of 3 has finally been released as an E-book download in the Amazon Kindle Store and is currently available for $1.99 to download to your Kindle, Ipad, Iphone, Android or other mobile reading device. This has been a great accomplishment in my life and one more step to share my Science Fiction trilogy with the world. Downloads have been relatively decent so I can't complain, and finally getting some feedback from others has been great.

I'm still hard at work on Chaos Mortalitus: Revelations, Book 2 which has been a work in progress for almost 18 months and I'm very happy with my results thus far. Now entering the final stages of the editing process, Book 2 should be ready for a September/October 2011 release if all goes well. So much of this next chapter in the Chaos Mortalitus saga has been kept under wraps at this point leaving me to wonder how this second installment will be received by my readers.

As far as my tattooing and artwork, well it's been crazy hectic but I'm really looking forward to the future as I've just recently passed my 9 year anniversary in this trade. My clients and projects have been great lately and I can't wait to see what's next. I will be posting some updated projects soon, take care everyone and download Chaos Mortalitus to begin a journey across time and space with Ashton Mortal.

2010 - A Year in Review

2010 has been quite an interesting year filled with great artwork, the birth of my daughter Kara, and the continuation of my on going novel/trilogy - Chaos Mortalitus - now on the verge of completing book 2. My art studio Mortalitus Art has done pretty well in the last couple of years and I see great things in the future. I am going into 2011 more pumped than ever on my artwork and writing and feel like I'm finally walking the destined path. My daughter is growing up so fast, her first birthday is literally around the corner and I couldn't be happier. As for Michelle, she's hands down one of the best mom's on the planet and since our daughter's birth she's been juggling everything perfectly, almost perfectly. So I'm gonna marry her, she's pretty rad, and supports all the goals I have in this head of mine. In closing I feel like so many things are now possible, and I'm going to push it as far as I can. Looking forward I see the start and completion of many new and existing projects in 2011, and in March I will celebrate 9 years of tattooing. My second novel should be released Memorial Day, 2011, Chaos Mortalitus: Revelations, and the paper back version of Chaos Mortalitus second edition will be released in the first quarter of 2011. Thanks for the support to all who believe in Mortalitus Art and Chaos Mortalitus!

Happy Holidays Everyone!
